One counter, one phone number, one address. There is no call centre in front of it and no ticket queue, which means the person who answers can usually route you to the lead who owns your job rather than taking a message. It also means calls back up on Monday mornings, so if your question is not urgent, Tuesday afternoon is a better bet.

The form below opens a file directly. Use it if you have photographs, because a scope written against images arrives faster and more accurately than one built from a phone description.

## Hours, address and the drive

The shop is at 23281 La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92887, open eight until five Monday through Friday and nine thirty until three on Saturday. Sunday is closed. From Rancho Santa Margarita the run is the 241 north to the 91 west, about twenty minutes without traffic, and that is the route for anything over thirty feet because it keeps you off tight signalized turns.

Long units get staged rather than parked. Pull to the street side of the lot on arrival and the counter will position you once, which is quicker than three attempts in a bay aisle. If you are arriving with a tow, call so the truck is met, because a flatbed unloading in the wrong spot blocks the aisle for everyone.

## What to have ready before you call

Five things make a first call productive. The claim number and adjuster name if a claim is open. Year, make and floor plan designation, because floor plan decides which cap moulding your unit uses. A description of the damage by side, height and station rather than by adjective. Any photographs you took at the scene, however poor. And whether the unit is drivable, since that determines whether we are booking an appointment or discussing a tow.

If you do not know the floor plan, photograph the data plate. It is usually inside a cabinet door or in the electrical bay, and the serial on it is what parts get ordered against. A photograph of that plate saves a phone call later on almost every job that needs a body panel.

- Claim number and adjuster contact, if a claim is open
- Year, make, model and floor plan designation
- Damage described by side and height, not by severity
- Photograph of the data plate with serial visible
- Whether the unit can be driven here

## Who handles which kind of question

Claims and scope questions go to the claims coordinator, who writes the estimate and takes the adjuster call. Technical questions route to the department lead who owns that work, meaning slide and electrical faults to the systems lead, colour and finish to the refinish lead, anything structural to the frame lead. Commercial and municipal accounts go to the fleet manager permanently rather than per unit.

What the counter will not do is give you a repair price over the phone. That is not evasion, it is that a delamination job cannot be scoped without tapping the panel, and a number given blind is always low. What you will get is which department the job belongs to, roughly what the inspection looks for, and how soon it can be booked.

## What the first visit costs

A written repair estimate is $150 and is credited in full against an authorized repair. If the problem is a fault nobody has been able to name, that is diagnostic time instead at $285 per hour with a one hour minimum, also credited. A pre purchase inspection on a unit you are thinking of buying runs $400 to $1,200 depending on size and systems count. All three happen with the unit on the floor.

Nothing here is a parking lot walk around. That is deliberate: the value in an intake is the tap test, the measurements and the photographs, and those are the reason the resulting scope survives an adjuster's review. Insurance walk ins are accepted during posted hours and follow the same process.

## Questions and answers

### When is the best time of day to reach somebody?

Mid morning Tuesday through Thursday. Monday carries the weekend backlog and Friday afternoons are delivery walks. If you need a specific department lead rather than the counter, say so when you call and ask when that person is off the floor, because they are usually under a unit rather than at a desk.

### Should I email or phone?

Email if you have photographs, phone if you need a decision today. Images are the single most useful thing you can send, and they get looked at by the lead who owns the work rather than described secondhand. Complicated claim histories are also easier to read than to hear.

### What happens if I call after you close?

Leave a message with the unit type and a callback number and it gets returned the next business morning. There is no after hours line and no overnight coverage, because everyone here is a technician or an estimator rather than a dispatcher. Anything genuinely urgent involving a disabled unit is a tow conversation first.

### Do I need an appointment to drop a unit off?

Strongly recommended for anything over thirty feet, and required if the job needs a booth slot. Booth time on a full coach repaint is blocked out in advance and cannot be fitted between other work. For a small mechanical or electrical job the counter can often take a unit the same week.
